You are sent a unique PIN, you can only play for real money once you have entered your PIN. You can edit your PIN. Never tell or show anyone your PIN. If you loose your phone your account will remain secure as long as no one knows your PIN.


Why wont the games download to my phone?

What happens if I loose a signal or connection after making a bet?

If you make a bet and then your phone looses it’s connection before you have seen the results of the bet. You will be refunded your stake money.

Your mobile phone is not the same thing that it was five or even two years ago. Then it was just that, a phone with some extra capabilities. Now, the device that you hold in your hand is typically a mini-computer with about the power that the PC had in the early 1980s. The difference is that the user interface has been highly tuned to enable specific functions to be carried out very easily.

As part of this capability most phone manufacturers now include a “platform” called JavaTM from Sun Microsystems embedded in the phone which enables it to run open system software such as games and utilities. In fact, approximately 580 mobile devices are shipping right now and as of September 2004, 17 million devices with this capability had been registered with the major mobile phone operators just in the UK. This is the technology that we use to give you a rich gaming experience. When you download the game, you are downloading a Java application.

However, there is much more to it than that. When you play the game on the phone in FUN mode it is pretty much like any JavaTM game that you can download – totally self-contained within the phone. However, when you play in REAL money mode you connect to our servers and the game effectively becomes a “window” through which you control the software on the server – even though you are taking decisions on the phone, these decisions are controlling events on our server. Data is also captured and sent to and from the server. This is done through your network operator to our servers – which is why you need to have Internet and WAP connections opened by your operator.

When you register we issue you with a PIN number. This number is unique to you and your phone which means even if someone gets your number no-one can use it without your phone. This is a standard way of providing security between a device and a server in this type of environment.

Every piece of data is encrypted with 128-bit encryption and we use some very clever (and secret!) technology to make sure that if there are any interruptions or breaks in the communication, the gaming is not affected and, more importantly, the financial balance of your account is reflected accurately providing you with the most secure environment possible.
